Made from Confederate bullets taken from the parapet of Fort Sedgwick Fort Hell) and inscribed with "Fort Sedgwick, on Jerusalem Plank Rd in front of Petersburg VA, G.A.Spencer, Instraver, W.A. Abbott, Maker. Bullets taken from a space 10 foot square facing Confed line opposite Ft Mahone (Ft Damnation) Winter 1863-1864. |
